Dr. Reece Mezei

Dr. Reece Mezei joined the My Pet's Vet team as a relief veterinarian and has quickly become a valued part of the hospital, forming strong connections with our staff, clients, and patients.

Knowing from an early age that veterinary medicine was her calling, Dr. Mezei attended St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at Murdoch University in Western Australia. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2023.

Throughout her training and career, Dr. Mezei has externed and worked in veterinary hospitals across Australia and the United States, gaining experience with a wide variety of species and clinical settings. Her love of both animals and travel has shaped a unique career path that allows her to work part-time as a relief veterinarian on Long Island while spending part of the year traveling, volunteering, and caring for animals in different parts of the world.
